Ages 8 - 12

Mondays or Wednesdays

Class #1 : 10am - 11:30am

Lunch Break: 11:30am - 12:00pm

Nature Break: 12:00pm - 12:30pm

Class #2: 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Children learn about different subjects within the monthly topic during each session and always spend one-on-one time with the animals.

There will be two different groups split by age each will be led by different instructors. Projects and material will be age appropriate! 

​

This program is designed as a drop-off program but parents are always welcome to stay on the farm if preferred. 

​

8 children must be enrolled in EACH class to run. 

​

Example Monthly Schedule #1:

 Theme : Mini-Vet Tech Month 

​

Each session in this month will focus on:

​

-Meeting with farm animal vet-techs to hear about their experiences, education and their personal techniques for working with animals

- Practicing the techniques vet-techs use in creating a safe environment to form immediate bonds with animals

- Building our own farm animal herbal medicine cabinet 

- Learning how to remedy the main illnesses that strike farm animals 

& more...

We will take nature breaks during each session, mindfulness walks and yoga.

 

Over the 4 weeks we will learn the process of becoming a vet-tech, how to apply our new knowledge in our personal animal connection routines and building our herbal animal medicine cabinet.

​

(Some projects focus on group completion while some projects focus on independent completion). 

​

Class One will focus on large animal and Class Two will focus on Small Animals

​

Example Monthly Schedule #2:

 Theme : Jewelry Making

​

Each session in that month will focus on creating jewelry for animals for one half of the day and making jewelry for humans during the second half. 

​

We will focus on the animals specific needs and what type of jewelry they would be able to wear! We will choose colors and pieces that suit their personalities. We will then apply this understanding to ourselves and those we choose to create pieces for. 

​

We will take nature breaks during each session, mindfulness walks and yoga.

 

Over the 4 weeks we will learn the process of creation and how to efficiently and independently achieve our goals for our jewelry projects.

​

(Some projects focus on group completion while some projects focus on independent completion).
